Direct donations of supplies allow us to keep our costs down and focus our resources on saving more dogs. If you would like to support The Sato Project through in-kind gifts, please take a look at our wishlists below which support our programs and operations. Items from this list will be shipped directly to our team and Dra. Adriana Luna’s team in Puerto Rico. This crucial medical equipment will keep our #OperationSato events well-stocked so we can provide spay/neuter/vaccination services to hundreds of local satos, all free of charge for the owners.

Puerto Rico Sanctuary Wishlist
Items from this list will be shipped directly to our staff in Puerto Rico, where our dogs receive training, socialization, behavioral assessment, and enrichment at Sanctuary to prepare them for forever homes. These supplies keep our dogs safe, fed, healthy, and entertained during their stays at Sanctuary while waiting for adoption.

NY Transport Wishlist
Items from these lists help supply The Sato Project with items we need for welcoming our dogs when they first arrive at the airport from Puerto Rico! The items will ship directly to our team in New York. Please keep your purchase receipt for your tax receipt purchases, you can claim it as an in-kind gift to The Sato Project.

Puerto Rico Foster Wishlist
We are working hard to grow our foster program in Puerto Rico. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can rescue from the streets. This is our wishlist of what we need in order to continue building our foster network. The items on this list will ship directly to our PR Foster Coordinator Natalia Rivera in Naranjito, PR. Please keep your purchase receipt for tax purposes. You can claim it as an in-kind charitable gift to The Sato Project.

Crate Donation
The Sato Project gladly accepts donations of new and clean, gently used airline approved dog crates such as the one below:
Please email supplies@thesatoproject.org to arrange drop off to our Brooklyn, NY office. Pick up may be arranged depending on location. We cannot accept wire crates but suggest reaching out to donate those to your local animal shelter.
Additional Donation Info
Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accept donations of towels, blankets, comforters, etc. or used toys/chews or opened pet food/treats. We do suggest contacting your local animal shelter for donations of this type.
Our address in Brooklyn, NY is a small administrative office and does not have the capacity to accept unsolicited items. For more information about other goods and services you could potentially donate, please contact supplies@thesatoproject.org.
