Weddings + The sato Project = True Love
As dog owners, our satos mean the world to us. They give us joy, offer us comfort, and complete our families. Many couples have incorporated their love for dogs into their wedding celebrations, and many more have used their weddings to support The Sato Project. We are so honored to be a part of these celebrations, and are happy to work with you to make this a special element of your big event.

There are a variety of ways that you can give back to the satos of Puerto Rico through your wedding celebration, but here are just a couple of ideas:
Register for donations in lieu of gifts: If you already have everything you need to start your lives together, consider asking your guests to make a donation to The Sato Project in lieu of gifts. We will provide a custom donation form to link to on your wedding website. We can also include a photo and a note to your guests. Give donations in lieu of wedding favors: A donation to help the satos of Puerto Rico offers a meaningful alternative to traditional wedding favors. Some of our past wedding supporters have chosen to match the design of their wedding menus and name cards with custom place cards saying “In lieu of a party favor, we have made a donation to The Sato Project in your name.” We also have the cards shown above available for purchase.
